Born in Mexico into a family of artists, I traveled the world as a tightrope walker before settling in France as co-artistic director at Ch\u00e2teau de Monthelon. I developed my own approach to perfumery through countless personal fragrance creations with artists in residence, and later globally. Before creating Ayin Perfumes, Ayin de Sela traveled the world as a tightrope walker with, among others, Cirque du Soleil. Until the day a malformation in her brain caused her to lose her balance. Forced to reinvent herself, she chose to create custom fragrances from her caravan located in Grand Island. In my previous life, I was a high-level tightrope walker with Cirque du Soleil in Canada. Then everything changed with a very painful family tragedy\u2026 I lost my sense of balance at a neurological level. It took me three years to walk again and seven years to rediscover the joy of living. It was seeing flowers grow even among the stones that sparked something in me. Their life force carried me, and I began to take an interest in the floral world and the healing properties of essential oils.
